Head of Digital Strategy
Robert Amlung is a journalist and Head of Digital Strategy at ZDF German Television. His main topic is the convergence of media and its consequences for content, distribution, workflows and business models. This involves questions regarding the future of journalism, systemic change management, internal workflow and technology and a landscape of new competition.
Before starting at ZDF in 2001, Robert worked for ARD’s news department in
Hamburg and as Head of News at ARTE in Strasbourg. He founded ARD’s news website tagesschau.de in 1996, and ZDF’s on-demand video service ZDFmediathek in 2007.
Andy is Chief Engineer for BT Sport, joining the innovative and disruptive British broadcaster at the beginning of its journey in 2012 to oversee the technology and construction of the landmark BT Sport Production Hub in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. He played a pivotal role in the development and launch of Europe’s first commercial live sports Ultra HD channel, BT Sport Ultra HD, and the successful launch of exclusive UEFA Champions League. He since helped BT Sport pioneer Dolby Atmos and led ground breaking advances in live VR 360 and HDR. Previously he was Head of Engineering for Sports Media House, Octagon, and before that delivered projects worldwide for respected system integrator IPK.

Stints in Soho post-production and outside broadcast with Formula 1 in the early 2000s, preceded over a decade working for international broadcasters, including MTV/Viacom and NBCUniversal, leading engineering, infrastructure and development teams through significant technology and systems change. Following a technology transformation role at global service provider Deluxe, the opportunity to build a TV network from scratch with VICE proved too tempting to pass up - VICELAND has now launched successfully in five continents. Alongside responsibility for making VICELAND work outside of North America, Tim also oversees all London-based technology and media services for VICE across all platforms, with a focus firmly on innovation. VICE is the world’s preeminent youth media company and content creation studio. Launched in 1994, VICE now operates in over 30 countries and distributes its programming to hundreds of millions of viewers each month across digital, linear, mobile, film and socials.

Jamie Bolding is the Founder & CEO of Jungle Creations, a media, marketing and commerce business for the social age, specialising in creating video content that is distributed to its online community of over 110 million followers. The company’s in house creative agency, The Wild, produces campaigns for clients including Baileys, Greenpeace, Sky and Virgin, and for two years running Jungle Creations has generated the most Facebook video views for brands of any other UK publisher. Jamie founded the business in 2014 at the age of 23 and has since grown the company to over 140 employees across four offices in London, New York, LA and Toronto. In 2018, Jungle Creations generated a turnover of £16 million whilst raising its first round of Series A investment. In 2018 Jamie was featured as the top Media and Marketing honouree in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe whilst Jungle Creations has won a variety of prestigious awards including ‘Most Innovative Video Partner’ (Digiday), ‘Branded Content Team of the Year’ (The Drum) and a Cannes Lion for its campaign for Yoti.

Juliet has been in Technology sales for over 20 years, previously working at BT, Computer Sciences Corporation, Siemens, Atos and managing large clients such as the BBC, Vodafone, Sky and UK Government. Juliet joined Google Cloud in 2016 and is enjoying the phenomenal growth of public cloud computing services offered by Google, from Infrastructure-as-a-Service to Big Data Analytics. Juliet is an active member of Google’s Women In Cloud community and supporter of Google’s #IamRemarkable initiative which strives to empower women and underrepresented groups to speak openly about their accomplishments in the workplace and beyond.
Kate is the newly appointed CEO of Brave Bison as of Spring 2019, having previously held a board position. Brave Bison is first and foremost a video focused social publisher with online communities of 130 million followers. BB also offers client services across creative, strategy and channel management, with clients including P&G, LEGO, LandRover and ANA Airlines. With offices in London, and Singapore, as well as presence across the wider APAC region in Thailand, Korea and Japan, Brave Bison employs over 80 people and is a public listed company.
Kate has a rich history in digital and is one of the best known internet advertising pioneers in Europe. After early success at Alta Vista and DoubleClick Kate joined Google as Director, UK, Ireland and Benelux in 2001, notably as Google’s first employee outside the U.S. After Google, Kate was Vice President & MD Europe Bebo, the CEO of AOL Europe, followed by European GM at BuzzFeed and Venture Partner at Hambro Perks VC. Burns is a regular guest across Europe at key speaker platforms discussing topics spanning current and future trends in the media, marketing and advertising landscape. She is also a keen horsewoman and regularly competes dressage at a senior level.

Gordon joined Eurosport in January 2018. He is in charge of developing, defining and implementing the long-term technology strategy of Eurosport, Discovery’s leading sports brand. Prior to joining Eurosport, Gordon held senior positions at telecommunications company Ericsson, latterly as Head of Strategy Development, Portfolio and Capital & Resource Allocation.
Gordon has over 25 years of experience working in the media industry which has included roles such as Director of Entertainment Media and Communications at Pricewaterhouse Coopers; SVP and Head of CNN Technology responsible for the News Group’s technology strategy, implementation and training; as well as serving as an SVP - Senior Technology Fellow, Turner Broadcasting. An American by birth, Gordon is based in Paris, France where he lives with his wife and three daughters.

James Crossland is SVP International Operations for WarnerMedia, responsible for the strategy and coordination of all operational efforts across WarnerMedia International regions including change initiatives to support the fast-evolving portfolio of linear and non-linear businesses. Previously James was Regional Vice President for Technology and Operations EMEA & APAC, responsible for leading the media supply chain operations and the strategic direction on investments, applications and solutions to enable channels, platforms, partnerships and business models across the EMEA and APAC regions. James joined the company in January 2016 from PwC where he was practice director for broadcast media transformation.
James has been in the media industry since 2004 leading the building and running of broadcast services for television and digital platforms across the UK public service sector and internationally. He has led initiatives across the media industry, delivering transformation of broadcast and production services at ITV and BBC , re-platforming international playout, distribution and VOD services at Encompass Digital Media and working with global media clients developing strategic operational transformation with PwC.
James started his career at IBM laboratories in Winchester, UK, then spent several years consulting across a wide range of industry sectors focusing on strategic deployment of technology to enable business growth and operational agility before moving into the media industry.

Always up for a new challenge, Jessica joined Imagen Ltd (award-winning media management platform) 18 months ago as Head of Growth, and has since been building, developing and leading a high-performing Demand Generation team and function. Her role embraces a variety of aspects, from marketing initiatives to customer journeys to business analytics, which she loves. Jessica started to develop her passion for international operations and digital marketing at a young age, and has spent most of her career so far working in London, Paris and Sydney in exciting digital and business growth roles. Her experience of over 16 years has spanned across a variety of industries (publishing, education, automotive, etc…) and has been intrinsically global, involving cross-functional projects with a global scope, and the management of remote multi-cultural teams – which she invariably thoroughly enjoys. Barry is chief product officer at COPA90, the world’s most influential football media business reaching millions of fans worldwide. He has more than twenty years experience building high growth businesses across media, sports, telecoms and technology sectors, with a particular focus on digital audience strategy, data science and product development. Barry has worked for and with many leading media brands worldwide – including News Corp, AOL/Oath and the Telegraph Media Group – helping them to grow and monetise fan communities built around digital content. A native of Glasgow and a passionate Celtic FC fan, Barry now lives in London with his family. He holds a PhD in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
EVP - Engineering, Operations
Richard Friedel is the Executive Vice President of Engineering, Operations & Technology for Fox Television Stations oversight of Fox’s 28 local stations throughout the US including their rollout of ATSC 3.0. Previously, Mr. Friedel led Fox Network Engineering & Operations with responsibility for Fox’s, national and regional television businesses. Mr. Friedel was also a member of the team that launched Fox News Channel. He is a fellow of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and a life member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers. Mr. Friedel serves as President of the Video Services Forum, President of the North American Broadcasters Association and is the former Chairman of the Advanced Television Systems Committee. He was awarded a lifetime achievement Emmy by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in 2018.
Bevan joined ITN in 2014 and is responsible for the technology and strategy across the ITV Network, Channel 4 and Channel 5 News operations alongside ITN Productions. Most recently Bevan has been involved with ITN’s development of partnerships with sporting federations, including the Host Broadcast of the IAAF World Championships in Doha. Previously, he was responsible for the operational aspects, and Technology strategy of Sky Creative, part of BSkyB, following a broad strategic role within Sky’s Broadcast Technology team. Prior to that, Bevan was the Technical Launch Director for Sky News Arabia, based in Abu Dhabi and launched in the Spring of 2012. Before joining BSkyB in 2003, Bevan worked as Engineering Support Manager at Orad UK, a real-time 3D graphics hardware/software company, responsible for the management of key customers across Europe. Prior to his time at Orad, he worked for the host broadcast at the Sydney Olympic Games, having started his career at the Seven Network in Australia.
Adde Granberg has worked in the television industry since 1991. He started out his career at Swedish youth channel ZTV as a sound engineer, which gave him the perfect grounding in TV production and the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in broadcast production and post-production operations. From 1994 until 2010 he ran his own broadcast consultancy, where he began to specialise in live events - managing the broadcast operations and director for high-profile sporting events such as the UEFA Champions League, the World Ice Hockey Championships and World Athletics Championships. In 2007, he joined HDR, a leading Swedish outside broadcast company that constructed and rented out OB trucks. And in 2010 he joined Swedish Television (SVT) with a remit to improve the technical infrastructure and workflow at the station. He was responsible for managing the remote TV production for the 2012 London Olympic Games and the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, and is currently moving SVT towards an IP and cloud-based future. Adde is now CTO, including production, overseeing around 700 people working with production and technology all over Sweden for SVT. This year Adde was executive producer for what SVT believes are world largest remote productions, the Alpine World Championships in Åre and Biathlon World Championships in Östersund. Over 80 cameras were used to capture the events for over 1 billion viewers.
Chief Technology and Operations Officer
As Chief Technology and Operations Officer (CTOO), Sinead is responsible for all technical and operational aspects of UKTV, including the roll-out of digital services under the network’s fast-growing TV on demand service, UKTV Play. Since joining UKTV in March 2015, Sinead has led an extensive and successful technology refresh, spanning business systems and digital app development, and driving the company’s data strategy programme. The UKTV technology and operations teams have transformed the UKTV supply chain and have ambitious plans for cloud first architecture spanning source to distribution. Sinead has extensive industry experience in technology, business strategy and broadcast operations, and is a member of UKTV’s Leadership Group. Sinead is also a Non-Executive Director at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, a member of several industry advisory boards and an active mentor working with both young professionals and aspiring teenagers.
Director of Technology - Operations & Distribution Platforms
Leading an in-house technology team, Tom is accountable for the technology strategy, systems & product development and operational support for ITV’s internal technology platforms that support its Broadcast, Commercial and Content Distribution services, and for the technology developments delivered by ITVs Broadcast managed service providers. This includes upstream functions such as Air Time Sales Rights Management, and Content Scheduling, through to Broadcast Playout, Linear & VOD Content Distribution. Tom's current focus areas are the transformation of ITVs content supply chain to unify the processes and technology across linear & non-linear distribution and international content sales and delivery; a major programme to modernise ITV’s Air Time Sales systems; growing our in-house software engineering and software product management capability; and the migration of content technology and core business systems to the cloud.
Carys graduated from the Media Technology course at Salford University in 2014 and joined Sky as a broadcast engineer supporting Sky’s media management systems and the content workflows that encompass them. Carys moved into the Broadcast Design, Emerging Technologies team as an Associate in 2016 and is now a Design Engineer. Her everyday work is varied and can range from UHD related research, workflow design and project delivery, to running POCs and demonstrations, authoring lip-sync guidelines and performing video quality assessments. Carys is a proud former RISE mentee (!), passionate about seeing students enabled to pursue fulfilling careers in TV engineering and is also a current member of SMPTE UK’s board of managers.
VP Operations, Engineering & Distribution
Jenkins has more than 30 years of experience in the television and film industry. In addition to his current responsibilities for the strategic direction, operational and engineering management of PBS’ entire media-supply chain, he also leads PBS’ Advanced Format Center, a collaborative venture between PBS, member stations, vendors and manufacturers. It’s mission is to explore and develop procedures for the creation, processing and worldwide distribution of 4K/UltraHD, High Dynamic Range content with Immersive Audio through traditional as well as new and exciting digital distribution platforms. Jenkins serves as the Eastern Regional Governor of SMPTE and Co-Chair, of the UltraHD Forums’ Interoperability Working Group. He is active within the DPP and the North American Broadcasters Association (NABA). He is also on the Board of Directors for the Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), the Washington, DC Chapter of the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) and he is the advisor to the PBS Equity and Inclusion committee.
Megan Johnston's niche is in post production. Having started out as a runner, Megan worked her way up through various roles such as post production coordinator, to post producer, to Facilities Director where she worked both in London and abroad when needed. Megan is now the Commercial Manager at Splice Post, and has a very diverse and interesting role which encompasses everything from business development, quoting, recruitment and supporting the green strategy of the business.
EMEA Business Development Lead, Media
Anshul is a media and entertainment executive and helps media companies launch differentiated video services in the market. Anshul looks after Media Business Development for Google Cloud in EMEA. Google Cloud offers solutions tailored for media and technology companies, encompassing content creation, video processing and distribution, monetization and audience engagement. Previously, Anshul had various leadership roles in Ericsson, including Head of product for Online Video and Media Management. Anshul is an expert in building SaaS products and delivering sustainable sales growth.
Managing Director - Media and Communications EMEA
Rainer Kellerhals advises large media and entertainment companies on driving their digital transformation with the Microsoft software and services platform and partner ecosystem. As a member of Microsoft’s Industry Leadership Team, he works with Microsoft’s Engineering Groups and Commercial Partner Organization to define Microsoft’s strategy for the Media & Entertainment industry. Mr Kellerhals has held several solution sales and sales management positions in the European and worldwide sales, marketing, and services organization at Microsoft. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr Kellerhals held senior management positions at one of Europe’s most successful independent software vendors for large-scale media asset management systems. Mr Kellerhals holds an M.D. (Diplom) in business administration and mechanical engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany. Following his studies, he worked as a research associate and lecturer, training students in using office applications and ERP systems and contributing to research on hypertext and hypermedia systems.
Group Content Processing Director
After graduating from Brunel University, Darren spent seven years working at the National Film and Television School (NFTS) teaching students in television production and helping to run the NFTS TV department, working with many talented students including Nick Park (Wallace and Gromit), David Tattersall (Die Another Day, Star Wars (Episodes I, II and III) and Michael Caton-Jones (Memphis Belle, This Boy’s Life).
After leaving NFTS, Darren spent a year working in the TV industry as a vision engineer before joining Sky Plc at the birth of the company back in 1989. He was one of the pioneers of changing the way the world watches sport, overseeing the technical operational developments and innovations across Sky Sports – from simple ultra-motion replay, HD and 3D, through to today’s interactive and digital developments that now appear in most sports broadcasts.
Darren was a key player in the conception and development of the UK’s first sustainable broadcast facility, Sky Studios, that has fourteen production studios, over 77 post production suites and one of the biggest integrated tapeless systems in the world which runs all of Sky’s linear, online and OTT playout.
In November 2012, Darren took over the leadership role for Sky Production Services (SPS), who deliver key production services to all of Sky’s content creation teams.
Darren is now responsible for setting a clear vision for Sky’s Content Processing workflow in it's Content Supply Chain (CSC) programme, which is looking to completely modernise all of Sky’s content processing systems and integrate this into the wider Comcast businesses.
Ian is Technical Director leading video systems development for Reuters, the worlds largest multimedia news provider. Ian has had a long and varied career in Reuters, having joined in 1995 developing real time systems for the financial information network, he moved into Reuters News agency in 2000. Up until 2008 he was working on a variety innovative systems for delivering multimedia content to newspapers and websites.
In 2008 he helped launch Reuters World News Express, which has been Reuters broadcast video distribution backbone since.
For the last 5 years he has been building video systems in the cloud, from live broadcast video distribution, to video archives with content going back to 1896 and a new cloud native version of World News Express.
SVP & CTO
Delbert R. Parks, III is the Senior Vice President / Chief Technology Officer of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. Del has been serving Sinclair since 1972 and has held various operations and engineering positions with Sinclair over the last 46 years, moving up through the ranks since he began in the engineering department of Sinclair’s flagship station, WBFF-TV in Baltimore. In addition, he is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, who has held various commands during his 26-year reserve career. In his current executive position at Sinclair’s Corporate Headquarters, Del is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing operational and engineering policies and strategies as they relate to television operations, internet activity, information management systems, and infrastructure. He is a SMPTE Fellow, as well as a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America and has been active in the scouting program with his sons.

Noel Penzer is VP EMEA at Fastly. Prior to Fastly, Noel was the CEO of Time Out. With more than 20 years of experience in technology and digital strategy, Noel has held leadership roles in companies such as AOL where he served as MD of AOL Europe, and Warner Music EMEA where he was Head of Business Development.
Chief Technology & Product Officer
As Chief Technology & Product Officer, Matthew Postgate is responsible for the corporation's Technology & Systems. Prior to his current role within the organisation Matthew was Controller, Research & Development. He was part of the management team that launched BBC iPlayer and was in charge of BBC mobile where he was responsible for building the corporation's world leading mobile services. Before joining the BBC, Matthew worked as a telecommunication consultant, was the director of an internet infrastructure start-up and worked at a digital strategy agency for clients including the Royal Mail, BT, Lloyds TSB, Visa and Qinetiq.

Tamar is Vice President of Audience at Refinery29 International, the leading media and entertainment company for millennial-minded women. Tamar is responsible for Refinery29’s audience growth strategy, digital channel innovation, and content optimisation.
Since launch, and under Tamar’s guidance, Refinery29 has shown YoY growth in their international markets, driving organic session growth by over 50% YoY. Most recently she’s accountable for launching their French site and scaling the local audience by 130% in three months.
Prior to Refinery29, Tamar was at TLC Marketing for four years building and managing international marketing departments. Tamar started her career at Red Bull and has worked in multidiscipline marketing for ten years across digital, experiential, promotional and shopper marketing.
General Manager - Europe
Mark Rogers is the General Manager, Europe at BuzzFeed. He oversees all business, sales and leads the overall growth and success of the company across Europe. Rogers joined BuzzFeed in 2019 from Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, where he served as Vice President, Media Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific. He was on the senior leadership team in both Hong Kong and London for over a decade and was responsible for leading cross-functional teams in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Beijing, Singapore, Seoul, and Bangalore, overseeing Dow Jones’ consumer media and marketing franchise - print, digital, branded content, thought leadership and conferences, including local language sites in China and Japan.
Head of Global Media and Entertainment Solution Architecture
Usman Shakeel is the Head of Global Media and Entertainment Solution Architecture at Amazon Web Services. Usman is responsible for building AWS’s technical strategy for M&E Solutions. Usman also assists media customers globally by providing architectural guidance and design recommendations for leveraging cloud-based services, tools and techniques. Usman has been with AWS for ten years and has been involved in several largescale projects involving lift and shift/modernization as well as new implementations of media workflows on AWS for some of the major Hollywood Studios and broadcasters around the world. Usman has a master’s degree in Computational Geometry and over 20 years of IT experience working with various organizations in software development, research and development around computer visualization as well as software and cloud architecture.

An established technologist with wide ranging experience in Media focusing on public Cloud Services as well as private and hybrid scenarios. Glyn has been working with Media customers for over 15 years, previously focusing on CDN, Broadcast Archive, OTT and Media Supply Chain. In his current International Product Role role for Alibaba Cloud, Glyn is tasked with understanding the trends and developments in the Media & Entertainment industry, ensuring Alibaba Cloud services are relevant to meet customer demand. When not indulging his passion for all things digital, Glyn enjoys spending his free time with his wife, two children and black Labrador in Oxfordshire, UK.

Supply & Distribution
As Operations Officer, Helen is responsible for all of ITV’s operational content supply chain from the point of commissioning through to distribution to the customer and beyond. This includes service management of our key partners in our Broadcast supply chain – BT, Arqiva, and Red Bee. Helen started her career in broadcasting in the BBC newsroom with the intention of becoming a journalist but from the minute she walked in the door, she was fascinated by how Television was made and switched paths into Creative. She worked in the Promotions department at Yorkshire Television, writing continuity scripts, editing trailers and running on-air campaigns. This was a microcosm of television-making with writing, graphics, editing, sound dubbing and post production offering a rounded education in all areas of production. She then moved into Presentation and worked her way through various broadcasting roles, including managing transmission for Yorkshire Television before becoming Director of Broadcasting for Granada. With the merger of Carlton and Granada, Helen took a more central role in Operations, managing the integration and transition of services into ITV. This continues with her current role which sees further integration of Operations and Technology as we modernise our systems and processes. Helen was also instrumental in founding Clearcast, the company responsible for clearance of advertising in the UK and in setting up the Digital Production Partnership, a driving force for change in the industry. She is a Board Director of Clearcast and of D3&4 and Chairs the DPP.
Strategic Technology Development Manager
Peter Sykes has worked in the media technology industry for 35 years. In his 27 years at Sony, he has helped technical and creative media professionals migrate to next-generation technologies for factual, drama, music, sports, nature, live entertainment and news production. As Strategic Technology Development Manager, he is currently involved in the introduction of key technologies within the media supply chain, including for Ultra High Definition and High Dynamic Range content creation. Peter led the teams that introduced a new generation of CineAlta cameras and workflows for filmmakers and that created Sony’s Digital Motion Picture Centre for Europe, located at Pinewood Studios. He also represents Sony on the IABM Members’ Board.
Grant Franklin Totten
Head of Media & Emerging Platforms
Grant Totten is the Head of Media & Emerging Platforms for Al Jazeera Media Network. He is passionate about empowering newsrooms and journalists to tell more compelling stories to its audiences more efficiently through applying Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning and other emerging technologies in useful ways to radically transform media workflows and provide intelligence across the media lifecycle from contribution to distribution from content creation, curation, Media Asset Management, Production, Distribution and Audience Engagement. With over 72 bureaus worldwide, Al Jazeera Media Network provides breaking news, analysis, programs, documentaries and research in over 100 countries in English, Arabic, French, Spanish and Bosnian languages. Grant has worked in the Data Science space for over 23 years and has founded and supported multiple startups throughout his career.
Martijn Van Dam
Member of the Executive Board
Martijn van Dam is currently member of the Executive Board of the Dutch Public Broadcaster (NPO) and in charge of innovation and technology. In this role, his portfolio consists of innovation policies, data strategy, personalized services and privacy related matters. Van Dam, former member of parliament and State Secretary of Economic Affairs, is an internet- and media-enthusiast but most of all new technology-minded and the stimulator of innovation within NPO. He is responsible for all distribution of the NPO-channels, such as the broadcasting of television and radio, as well as the on-demand platform NPO Start. Furthermore for the NPO radio-apps and all online outings of the Public Broadcaster on their own websites and apps or other (social media) platforms.
Engineering & Architecture Executive Director
François is Engineering & Architecture Executive Director at CBC / Radio-Canada. Today, Engineering Solutions is a team of 135 engineers, designers and system architects who develop and deploy media production systems and keep their finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the world of media technology. His key priorities are Infrastructures Strategies & Architecture, Long term Capital Planning, Capital Expenditures (projects delivery) and Project Management Office for CBC/Radio-Canada across the board. Francois’s group supports French and English media lines and also the IT infrastructure (including LAN/WAN, Transmission, telephony) for the business coast to coast.
Currently working on our new full IP facility in Montreal, Engineering Solutions will generate, among others, through the building project of the New Maison de Radio-Canada, more flexibility to enable the organization to meet the future needs of the business.
Francois joined CBC/Radio-Canada in 2005 and has occupied various functions within the corporation over the years.
As CTO, Orpheus oversees both Technology Strategy and Operations at Channel 4 with responsibility for Architecture, R&D and Information Security as well as Service Delivery and Distribution across IT, Broadcast and Non-Linear platforms. Orpheus was instrumental in the design and launch of the Channel’s pioneering 4oD product and has provided technical oversight of its expansion across an increasing number of devices and platforms, including its evolution into ‘All 4’. Orpheus has driven the adoption of ‘Cloud’ technologies to power the company’s Big Data and Online platforms, and continues to explore opportunities presented by the increasing convergence between linear and non-linear distribution. Orpheus is a member of the DTG Council and a Board Director at the DPP.
Matt Westrup has been Vice President of Operations since March 2016 when he joined A+E Networks. Responsible for the content, technology and teams that deliver the channels and digital portfolio across the EMEA territories. He manages media operations, localisation, post production, engineering and distribution as well as delivering technology-led projects and change across the business. As VP of Operations EMEA for A+E he manages History, C+I, Blaze, H2 and Lifetime brands across the region. Previous to joining A+E Networks he led the operations teams at Scripps Networks Interactive and Travel Channel International after having worked for 15 years in factual television production as a Camera Operator and Director.
Key Account Manager
Stephanie Wheeler is a Key Account Manager for Warner Bros. at Deluxe Media. Focusing on distribution of pre-release and catalogue titles, she is well-versed in servicing high-security content to broadcasters and platforms whilst maintaining customer trust and satisfaction. In her spare time she is an active member of the London chapter of Junior League which works to develop the potential of women through training and leadership by volunteering with various community partners to fight poverty in London.
Carrie is the Director of Rise - the advocacy group supporting women in the Broadcast technology sector.
Rise's ambition is to open up more opportunities for female broadcast professionals through holding quarterly networking events, seminars and a yearly mentoring programme. The women that will benefit from joining the group will be in non-craft roles in any type of broadcast manufacturer, service provider or end-user.
